Community Partners

St. John of Rochester

St. John of Rochester Church

provides seven classrooms of free donated space to house our Clothing Closet. A large team  of volunteers receives, cleans and sorts donated clothing and household goods. St. John's is the site of our annual Super Sale fundraiser in August. The parish is also a generous monetary supporter of our Educational Initiative.

Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester

Saint's Place began offering tutoring at the Cathedral in June 2022. Most of the attendees are Burmese families who are parishioners. The adults are studying to pass the GED and citizenship exams.

St. Marianne Cope Roman Catholic Parish

St. Marianne Cope Roman Catholic Parish

We are grateful to St. Marianne Cope Parish for hosting our tutors and refugees once a week on Mondays.

ABVI Goodwill of Rochester

St. Marianne Cope Roman Catholic Parish

Goodwill is a strategic partner of Saint's Place.  We receive a huge amount of donations from the public, and some of them we just cannot use. Goodwill kindly picks up at no cost from our locations every week, as well as donating gift cards for use in their stores to purchase items we need for refugee families.

World Relief Western NY

World Relief Western NY is part of a national network of World Relief offices through which over 400,000 immigrants and refugees have been welcomed into this country. For decades, World Relief has empowered churches, community organizations and people like you to adapt to the challenges of the moment for the sake of refugees and other immigrants.

Church World Service (CWS) Rochester is committed to welcoming refugees and supporting them in integrating and thriving in their new community. CWS Rochester provides reception and placement resettlement services to newly arrived individuals and families. These services provide clients with the opportunity to reach their full potential in the United States.
