Saint's Place Clothing Closet

Welcoming the Stranger

Saint's Place operates the largest clothing closet in Rochester.  It spans over six classrooms at St. John of Rochester who generously donated the space to us.  We have a home for household items/cleaning supplies/toiletries/toys room, a sorting and staging room, a men's  and children's clothing room, a women's clothing room, an infant/plus-size and school supplies room and a storage room.  The rooms are organized, clean and easy to shop.

Wonderful Volunteers

The Clothing Closet could not function without our volunteers.   Over 75 volunteers give of their time every year to sort donated clothing and household items, welcome guests and shoppers to the Clothing Closet and assist the refugees to find the items they need.

Serve the Community

The Clothing Closet is open not only to refugees, but also to the poor and needy of Rochester who are referred to us by non-profits and case workers.  We average 150 shoppers every month.   Saint's Place Clothing Closet is open four days per week, Monday-Thursday.
